Q: Going on Ocean Village on 7 August on Tavernas and Tapas cruise. First time for my husband. Are we allowed to take our own alcohol on board?

No I am afraid not. You maybe be allowed2 bottles of wine to be consumed in your cabin but if anytime during the cruise you brought on alcohol it would be taken from you and not returned until the 2nd or last night of the cruise so you can pack it away in your suitcase of whatever arrangements you will be making. If you buy alcohol in the ship's duty free shop same otpion but cigarettes & cigars are no problem as are perfumes. However, there are plenty of bars to go to for a drink and although some believe it is expensive you must bear in mind it is like staying in a 4 star hotel and not compare the cost to your local.
