We sailed on Ocean Village Two last year, sailing around the mediterranean. we had an outside cabin on GG deck and were very surprised at the amount of space we had. We do prefer informal cruising, however this does not mean; not making an effort. Everyone appeared smart but casual in the restaurants without the formality of ball gowns and tuxedos. Everyone aboard were extremely helpful and friendly, the spa is a must, go and have a look around the day you board the ship it is very impressive and great value for money. watching the sunsetting from the sauna... beautiful.
The organised trips again are well worth the money, as you find out a lot more about the destinations, history and culture, again these trips can be half day or full day excursions, you choose. Theres nothing better than going on a half day trip then returning to the ship for a well earned cocktail, soaking up the rays. The etertainment is aimed at suiting all ages again this is ok and what you would expect on this type of cruise.
This ship is definately not Butlins at sea, we have cruises on other ships and if you research the ship prior to booking you wont be disappointed. Can't wait for a Ocean Village Three.
