Hi, first time cruisers on Ocean Village 2. Surprised and pleased, we enjoyed the whole experience of cruising. We did Stay and Cruise with a week in Cala Millor in Majorca. We were picked up and transported to Palma port on Tuesday morning. What a thrill to see the ship first time it looked amazing. We had our pictures taken and checked in. All really quick and organised. Our cabin were ready as soon as we got on the ship (before 12 noon), other people had to wait until 3pm. The cabin was great we had 10209 with a balcony, not big but adequate and the storage space was really good.
The food was excellent, we did not bother going into La Luna and The Bistro (people had said big plates with not a lot on them).
The shows were good especially the one on top deck, really professional. The entertainment team worked very hard.
Trips were a bit overpriced. Easy Tunis was a waste of time. Florence and Pisa was hard work in one day, one and a half hours there on the coach. I poured down all the time we were there which did not help things, guide in Florence was OK, but the Pisa one was rubbish. Trip to Herculaneum in Naples was excellent (smashing guide), and then finally we did mountain bikes in Corsica, best of the lot.
Only fault was the pool area was crowded and as I love to swim it was a pain as half the sun beds just has towel on most of the time. It was not crowded one day when we had a storm and the water was splashing out of the pool, I got a seat then and watched a great show.

| Easy Tunis really rubbish.
Florence and Pisa, overpriced and too much coach traveling.
Herculanum very good.
Mountain biking in Corsica excellent. | | Staff | |
| The staff were the most pleasant people I have seen in one place, everyone smiled and said Good Morning. Our cabin steward, Rafael was lovely. | | Children's Facilities | n/a |
| | Onboard Activities | |
| Plenty of choice but we did not do much,I went to bingo a couple of times whilst hubby had a rest, very good. Shops were good and they had loads of sales, I came home with loads of Christmas presents. | | Cabins | |
| The cabin was fine, everything was compact and useful, shower room small but adequate. The beds were so comfortable, they were great. Films on TV when you were at a loose end, and the balcony which was lovely. I would have loved a suite but maybe next time. | | Overall Rating | |
