Cruise Line: Ocean Village Cruises Times cruised before: 3-5
Cruise Ship: Ocean Village Sailed: August, 2008
Destination: Mediterranean Age: 36-45
Just returned from two week cruise round the Greek Islands. 3rd time on OV1 and been on OV2 last year. First time doing two week cruise.
Whilst some parts of the ship are showing their age - generally the ship is light and bright and well looked after - Cabins always clean and of a good size. Food in Plantation and Waterfront of a good quailty for something serving food 24/7 to over 1800 passengers. La Luna and Bistro well worth a visit.

Shore excursions are expensive and yes you can do them on your own but you don't get a guide !

Entertainment could have been better - Robbie Williams, George Michael and Elton John tributes were all good - not sure what happened to the Simply Red man - he was poor !
Planet show much better on the second week - strange as the show was exactly the same !
Quality of Food4
We used all of the restaurants and The Bistro is the best
Entertainment3
two of the three comedians were very poor and racist - certainly not what you expect. Most of the tribute acts were good and Freedom 2 move singers/dancers mostly good
Shore Excursions2
Best excursion - Rhodes and Lindos - enjoyed all the ports - Limassol the most disappointing. Trips are expesice though
Staff5
The staff are really good - always polite and helpful
Children's Facilitiesn/a
Onboard Activities4
Art Actions are annoying - taking up space in the walkways. Karma Spa is good although the timetable of fitness classes has reduced from previous years. Entertainment team god - quizzes fun and fnally won one after four years of trying !
Cabins4
Cabin is large and always kept clean. TV the only disappointing thing.
Overall Rating4

Probably more vibration when ship goes into reverse on the odd occasion it needs too.

As you have just returned from a cruise on Ocean Village can you tell me if you experience any vibration on the ship. Our cabin is on A Deck 11. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.

We were on B Deck 10 - an no major vibrations in the cabins. You can feel it sometimes but not usually for too long
